To draw the sky

How do we know what we don't know? How do we know what we can't see? What is that space between leaves, the shape of shadows, the space in between in between? How between sounds like the Tagalog word "bituin" or star. And like the stars, the space in between is vast and unknowing, yet shines in the night sky to let us know it is there.
