Check your local PBS stations for rebroadcast. The website has extensive information regarding Mindanao and the battles being fought there today.

Even in the Philippines, it's difficult to get information about Mindanao. News of NBA finals and GMA's visit to the U.S. push local news aside. Most of my travels were in the predominantly Christian northern coast of Mindano and I only received a light glimpse of the Philippine military presence when I visited Marawi City.
