Oh Canada

Apparently, calls to foreign embassies are up in terms of asking about becoming a potential "expatriate." To which the Australian consulate replied: "Americans are funny,'' said consular officer Linda Heller. "They don't get their own way, so they want to move.''

Of course if you're serious, you can take this test to see if you qualify to obtain a skilled worker visa to Canada. Or if you're not currently betrothed, you can try one of these folks.

As nice as Canada is, it too has it's own issues as does any other country you may head to. Then again, it'd be nice to be living in a country that isn't placed so center of the map all the time, which is the way the media and government place America. International news makes up like 5 minutes of a news hour. And I mean international news that isn't about our involvement internationally.

And even if you're not planning on getting out any time soon, it's probably a good idea to take a break, get a change of scenery, and go find some good out in the world.
