ooh ooh ooh
Today Return of the King extended version comes out! whoo-hoo! If I didn't have class tonight, I'd be racing home to watch all 4 hours of it.
Rona blogs about Dec/Jan babies and their birthdays falling in the limited celebration zone in close proximity of Christmas and New Years. Happy Birthday, H! Both the Fiance and I fall in this category. It was only in the last few years that I've actually been celebrating my birthday with get togethers and activities. Growing up, it was a day to share with my grandmother, who birthday was a week before mine, and my grandfather, whose birthday was just the day before. While I was still counting my age on candles at 5, they were up to having just one big candle to represent their long years.
My godmother always remembered my birthday and made sure to send me an extra gift which made my birthday special enough though I never really had those kiddie birthday parties. I find the small sentiments on my birthday endearing and am not too obsessed or stressed over what year I'm celebrating. It's all really just another excuse to have fun.
I figure it ain't as bad as my cousin who was born on yes, the leap day February 29. He's 6 and a half in leap calculations.
Makes time awfully relative, like the way 20+ hours of my life will wisk away playing the various commentator and dvd extra tracks.
