On the menu
On the menu for Saturday's party thus far:
-chicken arroz caldo with half and half jasmine and red rice
-Prosy's family flan
-spinach egg white quiche (cuz what else was I going to do with all the egg whites after making the flan!)
-lumpia (thanks to Auntie)
-fried Spinach (which was a fad food in the Philippines a couple of years ago. So bad but SSSSOOOO good!)
And who knows what other stuff other folks are going to bring. Though with potluck you often run the risk of overloading with the desserts, but hey, my sweet tooth ain't complaining.
I'm going to be cooking the top three Friday night, you know just in case I mess it up and still have time to run to the store to buy more eggs to try it again.
