Been reading responses from Jean's Class and Leny's Class who read the "Kali Poetics" essay in Pinoy Poetics. Some interesting reads from Vivian, Francesca, Christina, Ya-Ting, Dan, Jessica, Grace, Kent, Paul, Khou, Malissa, Laurie, Paula, and Lindsay.

Whether it be a poem or an essay, in Pinoy Poetics or in Coming Full Circle, these blogs remind me that the words once released take on a life of their own. They speak on their own. I met an artist who was having her first ever showing of her work. She commented that she hoped people understood what she was trying to say in her work, to get her message. We didn't want to say anything about how even when you explain your intent to someone, they may get something else completely out of it and still may not understand your "message". The essays, the poems, both me and not me, to claim and not be claimed, an interesting duality.
