So much to blog about

topics to possibly be blogged about in further detail in the next few days unless some other idea comes to mind and kicks them off the list:

-jazz supper club at Downtown Restaurant with food and beverage reviews. short review: one of the best dinner/music deals in town!
-"being kidnapped for a hollering fun PG rated Bachelorette night out" also known as "I am my own worst enemy in surprising me" or "how do you karaoke to a Marilyn Manson song?"
-community organizing skills of wedding planning (I may save this for next week. I think after all this is said and done, I'll put out a list of the things I thought worked well and those things I would have liked to have tried) or "checklist of checklists"

I should stop now because I'm starting to sound like the end of a "Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon" where they announce the title of the next episode along with it's alternative title.

The lull is soon to end...kali seminars, bridal shower, long beach convention, dress fitting, rsvp deadline and road trip to bring us well into September.

In class this morning in Tuhan's class I taught one of my students there how to endure the pain when being the "practice dummy". To breathe, relax the body, try to focus on releasing the pain to somewhere else and to go with it. I didn't say that it still doesn't hurt like mad, but it gets you through. It's probably good advise for stress too when everything seems to be coming at once. I'm going to have to remind myself to take my own advise.

Your worst "enemy" in surprising you is Mr. "So what time are you leaving?" LOL
