the ring's the thing
The Hubby ponders the weight of the ring on his finger. It's going to take some getting used to. I have a bit of a blister developing under the ring between the ring finger and the middle finger, but not on the other side. Our jeweler said we'd end up developing a callous or two.
Went to my first Kali class after the wedding, not sure if it's because I hadn't been there in a while or that I'm just coming down from all the festivities, but something was different. I do notice the weight of the ring as I move. It all seemed a bit awkward, but that could also have been me being "out of it." My classes start up again tonight, so we'll see how it goes.
People keep asking me if I "feel" any different. My cousin said she felt different after their wedding blessing. Alot has changed yet it feels as though nothing has changed. A friend tells me that there will be alot of changes, good changes, then it will seem like life has always been this way.
It's certainly a time for change and I'm hoping to use the time to change a few things in my own life, nothing big, just lots of little stuff, get into some better habits. I've gone back to reading the organization books, not only to try to clean up my stuff, but to also reorganize the place so it's "our" place. So, the closet up front fits our shoes and the closets fit all of our clothes and the bookshelves hold our books and our dvds.
I suspect life will be a bit unsettled for the next few months. Lots of things to adjust to and adjust with. And it's all these small adjustments that add up to a really big life change.

I wish you luck with your reorganization
efforts. It can be tuff, but I think it is a good thing (to quote Martha. Lord knows I am STILL plugging away at it. Even easier now with the 2 new little ones.
