overheard

Circuit training just kicked my @$$ last week, as my muscles went straight to fatigue. On Sunday, I couldn't flex one arm and couldn't fully extend the other. What happened to muscle burn the stage before fatigue?!? Apparently, my ever growing pain tolerance has evolved in such a way that general muscle burn is easily ignored. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

So, today I tried out the water exercises class which is exclusively women. There are alot of things I liked about the class. One it's in a heated pool. (No body shock from the cold water. And people even said that the pool is cooler than usual.) Two, you can go at your own pace. (Most of the class is actually older women, but there is also a more advanced water exercises class available if you want to take it up a notch) Three, since you're in the pool, no one can really tell how awfully uncoordinated you really look under the water. (Unlike, step or aerobics class where all the mirrors instantly mark you as the one who can't keep up) Four, it's not as boring as doing laps through the pool. Five, the water does require you to improve your entire body control. (that you can't get from the machines)

But probably the absolute BEST reason for taking the class over some of the other gym classes (overheard after class):

My abs have gotten so much stronger that I can hold my orgasms for alot longer

OK, so I really didn't want to turn around to see who exactly said that, because I don't need to know that much information about other people in class. But if that ain't incentive to stay with the water exercises class I don't know what is!
