July 10th is the last day for Cody's Books on Telegraph. The 4th St and the SF store will remain open. It's been there for 43 years. We've bought many a book there. On Telegraph we always went there first then if not there, maybe at one of the bookstores like Moe's or Shakespeare. I wonder where Poetry Flash's Sunday poetry will move to? The 2nd floor lined with pictures of all the various authors who have come through its doors. It was one of two bookstores that hosted former President Clinton when his book came out. But I suppose Cody's owner can't deny the numbers he's seeing, in particular the negative numbers he's seeing. I hope it means that he'll be able to pour more into the SF and 4th St locales.
