Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my brother who turns the ripe old age that allows him to rent a car without the "too young" penalty and gets a lower car insurance rate.

Next week will be another friend's birthday, turning the round and robust 50. When I told my mom he was turning 50, she replies, "only 50?" in that oh-that's-still-so-young-got-plenty-of-life-ahead-of-you tone. Indeed.
