et al

Welcome back, John!. The world does change after you've been home for a while. Get some sleep.

Congrats to Jean as she will be practically PhinisheD.

Thanks to Leny for the wrap up of the "Forgotten Book" launch. It was just like being there.

Will be driving back from Sin City today. Will have news for my bro and others about the start of a series of weddings happening in my family soon. Spent the night driving down the strip to give newbies a run down. I could spend an entire day with a notebook in hand just writing down the signage here, like "hypnotic exotics," "bikini bull riding," a mud wrestling match between "Christina and Britney," and "the Borg Encounter: now in 4-D." I thought the 4th dimension was time, so I wasn't exactly sure what was so spectacular about that.

I've not really been fond of Vegas, but this year's travels bring me here several times this year. There is obviously something that I have to see and experience here and I don't mean the kind of experiences that "stay in Vegas." Perhaps it's to understand the desert, since I'm a confirmed ocean/water person, or to understand the art of "illusion" which is what this place is all about. I'll let you know soon.
