catch a Tiger by the tail
Just installed OS 10.4. It has a new "dashboard" feature that's supposed to help you find handy tools like a dictionary, clock, weather, traffic reporter. But it also includes stuff like the ever addictive Snake, memory, and tile puzzle games. Because of the various widgets, I also know that there are 157 days until our wedding day.
But hands down the best thing ever, is Hula Girl! When you click on her, she rocks back and forth in front of your chosen background (beach, volcano, heaven, car dashboard). You can also change her to a hula boy. But by far the most amusing is "Hula Homer" and "Hula Jesus." I swear nothing will brighten my day faster than making Jesus waddle in front of a fiery volcano.
What can I say? I enjoy the simple things.

I just ordered Tiger over at Apple's website. I'm SO excited!
Getting a new Mac in a coupla weeks (my iBook is almost FIVE years old)! The wait is driving me nuts...
YAY! Mac people! I'll keep posting if I locate any other very cool things in the new system. Haven't tried automator yet. It's one of the pluses of this job, where I am "required" to keep up with Mac stuff, which I would have done anyway. such a geek!
