Pinoy rocks!

My parents are fans of Rockstar:INXS even though they don't know who INXS is and my father listened to Ty sing "No Woman, No Cry" and asked, "what kind of song is that?" Why may you ask are they fans of the show?

Because one of the better rockers is one of our own!

Mig who really knows how to rock and has yet to hit the bottom three, was born in Manila, Philippines. Though he grew up in Australia, he told TFC that they used to go back every Christmas to visit his cousins and that he likes lechon and lumpia and only knows the bad words.

Mig was one of my favorites even before I heard of his Manila roots. He really knows how to rock but will have to expand his song selection to make it with the band. They've asked him to try a ballad next time. Week two he managed to get EVERY LYRIC of Steven Tyler's "Walk this Way." Dang! That's the karaoke song that everyone just goes mumble, mumble, mumble...walk this way....talk this way! And I think he has the Filipino shyness as last week, he admitted to the band that he doesn't really fight for the song he really wants, he just tries to be polite and gets the song he's left with. If he's going to win, he's going to have to tap into his no holds bar fighting spirit.
