odd man out

I thought I was on a roll for a bit with the seating arrangement for the wedding. Knocked off six tables right away. First my family, then add my family, then add our friends, then add my parent's friends. Then it got complicated. I'd think I would have a good table, but then there'd only be seven of them and I'd need to find three people who could be placed with them. No one breaks down in groups of ten, they just don't. Then there are groups of 8 that could be a table if only that one person send in their response to confirm the email saying they were coming. Then there are the people I must sit on polar opposites of the room, well, because I don't want WWIII to break out in our wedding reception. And when I thought I knew my uncles and aunties, I realized I really don't know their interpersonal dynamics. Do they really like each other that much to sit at the same table?

Maybe I should do a few Sudoku puzzles to get my brain warmed up. All the rows and columns on the board must add properly, plus each of the smaller boxes must use each of the numbers only once. Now, do this puzzle, and add interpersonal relationships, children or no children, and remove a few of the numbers because you really don't know if all the numbers will fit just right. There. That's what's going to turn my brain to mush for the next couple of weeks.

Good news though: My mom and I finished making all of the favors. yay! They are so cute!

20 days to go...
