Welcome to the world
Catherine Vanessa 4lbs 5oz (aka Twin A) and Veronica Caitlin 5lbs 3oz (aka Twin B) last Friday 09/09/2005 around 7:25pm.
I forget if it's the Laotians or the Cambodians who believe that the 2nd twin out is the older of the two, as it's the older one who kicks the first baby out into the world. Natural birth. Twin B was breech so got a bit bruised up on the way out. Both spent a day in ICU but are now in Step Down, which is a very good thing. They'll probably be in the hospital for a week as they learn to feed and suck and gain a couple of pounds. This out of the womb thing takes some time to get used to.
We spent the last couple of nights babysitting the 4 year old niece. She was fine most of the day, but in the afternoon, she starts to notice that mommy is not home. She was happy that daddy stopped by last night to give her a bath and tuck her in, though she complained most of the time. The Fiance worries about how we'll handle kids when we have them. He never had younger siblings or cousins to take care of. I really think he'll be a pretty decent dad.
I had to run off yesterday and today for previously scheduled errands and meetings, while he stays the entire day with the niece. He's doing an excellent job. We hope to go by the hospital later this week and take a peek at the twins.

Just saw your post from a few days back! My only tip for having twins is to hang on for dear life. And to nurse them separately when she can so they each get some alone time with their mom. But the fact that your bayao already had one child should make it a little easier. Having two right outta the box was scary as hell...
