on the menu: surf & turf

with 5 days to go we have to eat out our fridge to consume all the perishables before leaving, but if not, there are relatives who have been given full "shopping" range in our fridge.

on the menu:
red-wine marinade beef, medium rare
garlic prawns
pasta
salad
asparagus sauteed
bread and italian cheeses

still thinking about which bottle to open as that may not be finished this week (where's the chatelaine, when you need someone to drink your wine?)
